Partnering with HOPE FLOATS FOUNDATION
Blog
We are so excited to be partnering with HOPE FLOATS FOUNDATION to provide scholarships to those children in OUR community that are unable to afford lessons. In 2022 Manta Swim Academy provided scholarships to 25 children.
Our heart is water safety and drowning prevention, and we know that many of our low-income families do not normally have the same accesses or funds for swim lessons and water education. This does not make their children any less important to us and we want to be able to assist these families and give them the gift of Survival Swim.
Our goal is to educate as many families as possible on water safety and drowning prevention regardless of financial means. Lack of knowledge is sometimes the biggest problem, and we are working hard to curve the gap in the lower income communities by offering this service and education to anyone, even those who wouldn’t normally be able to afford it.
Our program focuses of Survival and living safely in and around the water and that is our passion.
Our goal for the 2023 Swim year is to gift 50 swimmers with Survival Swim lessons based on their economic needs. We have set the bar high, but we believe in our community, and we are so grateful that there are people that believe in water safety and drowning prevention for ALL children.
We hope you are willing to contribute, and we appreciate your continued support and involvement in enriching the education of the students in our community.
Many thanks in advance for your continued support. We look forward to our 2023 swim year and can’t wait to see how many lives are touched.
