For too long, underprivileged families have been left without the knowledge or resources to teach their children how to swim. The statistics are heartbreaking: according to the CDC, drowning is the second leading cause of unintentional injury-related deaths for children aged 0-17. In many of these communities, generations have grown up without the ability to swim, making a simple day at the pool or beach a potential tragedy. These children don’t just miss out on the joy of swimming—they miss out on a life-saving skill.
